Clean up

Did you know you can freeze lemons by simply cutting them into wedges or slicing them and placing them into a sandwich bag which you then place in the freezer.

When you need to use a wedge, defrost in cold water for 5-10 minutes

Rubbing your hands and nails with a lemon wedge removes grease, dirt, brightens, softens and strengthens the skin and nails .

Coconut & Honey Oil

This is a rescue oil for your skin to use at anytime. I like to make this in a large batch so that it lasts longer. This you can use for the scalp, body, hands and feet(makes a great massage medium too)

Using a hand whisk, whip up 2 cups of organic coconut oil for 2 minutes.

Add 5 tbsp of honey, 8 drops lavender, 8 drops sandalwood, 8 drops chamomile and mix together.

This is best stored in a jar in room temperature.

Oaty Sugar Scrub

In a mortar and pestle, grind together 1 tbsp oats and 1 tbsp sugar. Add 1 tbsp your coconut and honey oil and mix.

This will be enough as a hand or foot scrub. Simply double the amount for a body scrub.

Wet your hands with warm water. Then rub the mixture really well into your hands for 1 to 2 minutes. Rinse off with warm water and pat dry.

Warming Oil Hand Bath

Microwave the 2 tbsp of the coconut and honey oil blend in a small bowl for 30 seconds so that it becomes warm and thin enough to penetrate the skin. Make sure that the temperature of the mixture remains bearable instead of being too hot.

Place your fingers into the oil for 2-4 minutes until the mixture has cooled down completely. Massage the remaining oil into the hands and arms and so that you do not waste any of it!
